Kurt’s landscaping career began at age 14, when he started working for Bland Landscaping during summers and school breaks. He attended North Carolina State University, where he earned degrees in agriculture business management and horticulture science. He spent several years in Fremont, CA before returning to North Carolina and Bland Landscaping in 2002. Matt grew up around the landscaping business and began working at Bland Landscaping during the summers as a teenager. After graduating North Carolina State University with degrees in business management, economics, and a Masters degree in accounting, he spent three years working in IBM’s finance department. Matt returned to Bland Landscaping in 2004 and is responsible for accounting, estimating, and the company’s overall financial management. (more…)

Millie’s career with Bland Landscaping began in 1999 when she moved to North Carolina from New Jersey after falling in love with the state. In New Jersey, Millie worked in the women’s apparel industry for 19 years in various capacities. Millie studied Business Administration and Marketing at the New Jersey City University. While at Bland Landscaping she was promoted to several positions in the Admin Department and in 2004 became the Human Resources Manager.
In 2007 Millie received her PHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and in 2015 received her professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management which she is a member of since 2004. Millie is a member and former Volunteer Director of the Triangle SHRM chapter.
Millie is a wife, a mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering for causes that are near and dear to her heart, loves watching her BBC and PBS shows on television and shopping for shoes. Future ambition is to be able to travel with her husband.
Laurie Jarman joined Bland Landscaping as Office Manager in 2012. Originally from Syracuse, NY, Laurie earned her degree in Business and Accounting in 1995 and moved to North Carolina in 1996. She has over 20 years of accounting experience with a concentration in the construction industry.
When she is not working, Laurie enjoys spending her time keeping up with the activities of her two daughters and husband.
Originally from New York, Chris entered the landscaping industry in 1994 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in turfgrass management. He joined Bland Landscaping in 2003 and is a valuable member of the Account Management Team. Chris is an active volunteer in the Wake County Public School System, working to promote the importance of the landscaping industry to local students. (more…)
Originally born and raised in the Cincinnati, Ohio, Brandon moved to the North Carolina Triangle area in July 2012 with his family of four daughters and wife of 15 years. Holding degrees in Horticulture and Turfgrass Management and overseeing Construction and Maintenance operations for over 10 years at a landscape company in Cincinnati, he joined the Bland Landscaping team of Customer Service Managers in October of 2012. A native to the Triangle area, Jason grew up in Cary where he got his first landscape opportunity at MacGregor Downs Country Club in 1998 doing course maintenance. After his tenure at the golf course he continued in the landscape industry, mostly on the commercial side, until returning to college in 2008 where he attended UNCW for Chemistry, and then NCSU for Turf Science. Once college was complete he returned to the landscape industry with a better knowledge of the environment, plant physiology, turf management, and plant nutrition. Joining the Bland team in 2014 he has become a valuable member of Bland’s Management team.
A native of North Carolina and a proud alumnus of North Carolina State University’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Agronomy Department, Todd has an extensive background in Turfgrass Management and the Agronomic Sciences.
