While on the surface this seems like a common irrigation repair, in reality it is not. This was our second irrigation repair completed this year which required our new North Carolina Restricted Limited Plumbing License to perform.
The task at hand was to remove an abandoned a backflow prevention device that once served as the water supply to a fountain that has since been demolished. Since the job involved the installation, repair, or replacement of a backflow prevention device, it required a plumbing license, permit, and inspection to legally perform.
As of October 3, 2014, Bland Landscaping is a Restricted Limited Plumbing Contractor allowing us to contract install, repair or replace exterior backflow prevention devices connected to water service piping two inches in diameter or less, exterior building sewer piping, exterior water service piping two inch diameter or less, and water filtration systems. We are proud to add this license and certification to our list of many as a company, allowing us to come one step closer to an all-inclusive service provider to our customers.
