Read what Kurt had to say about it:

David Koehn is one of the most positive and inspiring landscape professionals I know. His story of growing up in a small Virginia town and deciding to migrate south in search of opportunities is a story worth hearing.

Getting to know David over the years has been inspiring for me, and what started as a random connection here on LinkedIn has culminated into a friendship and a partnership filled with potential.

It was an honor to be able to share some heartfelt laughs on the screen with he and Robert Clinkenbeard from Wilson360 as we spun a thread about the future of Bland Landscaping Company as we’ve joined forces with Koehn Outdoor.

We have waited 49 years to expand beyond the Carolinas, and it was very intentional. We’ve built a branded house that sits on a foundation of landscape industry bedrock. When deciding where to expand next and who to partner with, we are being very strategic and thoughtful. Comvest Partners has afforded us immense capital resources to act on these opportunities, and our alignment with Operating Advisory Group has proven in short time to be a force multiplier as we accelerate our platform and expand throughout the southeastern United States.

If you are an ambitious owner who is thinking about next steps and wants their team to have opportunities, please reach out to me or David. We would love to learn about your story and help you grow your business. We are focused on commercial landscape management services south of the Mason Dixon Line and east of the Mississippi River. We will entertain opportunities beyond these boundaries, but we are prepared to pay a premium for well run companies whose owners want their team to grow in these southern states. Size is less important than potential, and we are interested in growth minded companies from $5M to $50M and above in annual sales. We pay cash at closing, and we can offer reinvestment opportunities for those who are interested in another bite of the apple.
