This past week, North Carolina’s horticulture students shined at the 2025 National Collegiate Landscape Competition in Colorado. Teams from NC State University, Alamance Community College, and the University of Mount Olive, along with other North Carolina programs, displayed exceptional dedication, professionalism, and preparation throughout the event.
What makes this especially meaningful is that many of these students have been part of our internship programs and student workshops. We’ve had the privilege of seeing their growth firsthand — and it’s inspiring to witness them now stepping into the national spotlight. The hard work and commitment of North Carolina’s horticulture teams are truly setting the standard for the industry’s future.
