We have officially installed our first fountain in Jacksonville, Florida at The Gables! We’re now servicing the North Florida and Southern Georgia markets for all your lake, pond, and stormwater management needs.
To some, “it’s just a fountain.” To us:
- It’s a small yet important step in our business conquests as we continue expanding our service area through organic sales and denovo startups of new branches.
- It’s meaningful proof of concept as we execute our buy-build-bolt-on strategy, leveraging our balance sheet and refining our cross-sell capabilities.
- It’s an excellent example of teamwork between our teams at Foster Lake & Pond Management and Bland Landscaping Company
One year ago, we had ZERO employees in Florida. Today, we have around 175 full time team members in northeast Florida. That number will double in the next two to three years.
True, it’s only one fountain, but it’s the first of many as we begin stage two (build) of our regional growth and build out a Borromean Ring-like structure of facilities and branches with overlapping service areas. We will continue to train and recruit a multitude of aquatic and landscape specialists to provide complete turnkey commercial outdoor solutions that meet the ever-expanding needs of our new clients across northern Florida and coastal Georgia.
Some may take a cheap shot at us for celebrating something so small, but we believe in the team we are building, and we appreciate everyone’s hard work. We are fifty years in to this game, and we are in it for the long haul.
