One of the most rewarding parts of celebrating 50 years in business isn’t the milestones on paper—it’s the people. The ones who have poured years, heart, and loyalty into this company, and in doing so, shaped not just our work, but our culture and our lives.
As our Apex, NC branch gathered to celebrate our 2025 end-of-year awards, we also took time to recognize and honor the long-tenured employees who have helped build this company over decades. Throughout the slideshow of photos, story after story reflected commitment, growth, and relationships that go far beyond job titles.
Our CEO, Kurt Bland, shared personal journeys he’s experienced alongside many of these team members. Among them, was Laurie Moffitt, Estate Gardener—someone who has truly walked with this company through the highs, the hard seasons, and everything in between. Honoring Laurie’s 30+ years with Bland Landscaping Company was emotional in the best way. Her commitment, her steady presence, and the personal impact she’s had on the Bland family and our team cannot be measured by years alone.
The photos shared are just a glimpse into how special this day truly became. What began as a seemingly normal end-of-year awards meal turned into a meaningful celebration of people and decades of dedication.
Congratulations to the Apex Branch employees who have each given over 20 years to our organization. That represents countless early mornings, hard work, shared challenges, and pride in what they’ve built together.
