Hosting Our Annual Student Workshop in Apex

We were proud to host our annual Student Workshop at our Apex branch, welcoming students from North Carolina State University, University of Mount Olive, and Alamance Community College.

This hands-on workshop supports students preparing for the NC High School Landscape Competition and the National Collegiate Landscape Competition, giving them real-world exposure to plant identification, equipment operation, and truck & trailer operation safety.

A sincere thank you to our management team members who traveled from across the state to share their expertise and invest in the next generation of industry leaders. Your willingness to teach, mentor, and lead makes a lasting impact.

We also greatly appreciate Vermeer All Roads and Gregory Poole Equipment for their continued support in supplying equipment and helping make this event possible.

We are grateful to play a small part in shaping the future of the green industry.

A note from Jason Boyd, Talent Acquisition Manager at Bland Landscaping:

It was a great day hosting students. Seeing their energy in the driver’s seat of a Mini Ex, diving into a complex sales presentation, or training in plant ID reminds me why I love this industry. Great day for the future of the Green Industry!
