Human Resources Manager
Millie’s career with Bland Landscaping began in 1999 when she moved to North Carolina from New Jersey after falling in love with the state. In New Jersey, Millie worked in the women’s apparel industry for 19 years in various capacities. Millie studied Business Administration and Marketing at the New Jersey City University. While at Bland Landscaping she was promoted to several positions in the Admin Department and in 2004 became the Human Resources Manager.
In 2007 Millie received her PHR certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and in 2015 received her professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management which she is a member of since 2004. Millie is a member and former Volunteer Director of the Triangle SHRM chapter.
Millie is a wife, a mother of 3 and grandmother of 6. She enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering for causes that are near and dear to her heart, loves watching her BBC and PBS shows on television and shopping for shoes. Future ambition is to be able to travel with her husband.
