Thank you to the amazing team at Burkett Farm for hosting our summer interns for an informative tour of the facilities last week!
Burkett Farm is a 4-acre haven of sustainable farming. They grow a diverse array of crops using eco-friendly methods like pesticide-free practices, no-till operations, and cover crops for soil health and water conservation.
Burkett Farm regularly hosts local area students to educate about sustainable agriculture and how it can reshape our landscape. To date, the farm has given over 72,000 pounds of fresh food to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and their flowers brighten the days of many through donations.
