We had the privilege of attending the NC State Ag, Science, and Career Expo at Talley Student Union on September 30 and October 1. Over the two-day event, our team had the opportunity to connect with a wide range of talented students, sharing insights about our industry, highlighting internship and career opportunities, and building relationships with the next generation of green industry leaders.
Day one was a lively kickoff with our full team on site, meeting new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones. Day two carried that energy forward, giving us more time to discuss how students’ skills and passions can align with careers in Commercial Grounds Management, Landscape Design, Aquatics, and beyond.
A highlight of this year’s event was having several of our former interns, now full-time team members, join us at the booth. They shared their personal experiences of transitioning from internship to career, providing students with a firsthand perspective on the opportunities and growth available at Bland Landscaping.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to learn more about who we are and what we do. Events like this reaffirm our commitment to investing in people and cultivating careers that make a lasting impact.
