Last night, the Bland Landscaping Company team hosted our first Intern Social event, which provided us with the opportunity to reconnect with several former interns. Many of them are now thriving on Team Bland, while others are establishing their own small businesses. The titles may change, but the bond we built hasn’t. Watching these students grow into industry professionals and develop their leadership within our company is exactly what this program is about.
We also made new connections with an incredible group of students who were getting to know Bland Landscaping Company for the first time. Their energy and ambition lit up the room, and we can’t wait to work with these young professionals in our 2026 program.
Thank you to everyone who made this event so special, from our dedicated Charlotte managers making the trip here to our executive leadership team members who attended. The future of our industry is in very good hands, and we feel fortunate that we are able to play a small part in its development.

Tonight was one of those nights where I was reminded of how much great talent is entering the green industry every year and how important it is that industry leaders like ourselves continue to give generously of our time and experience with the next generation, even the ones who don’t plan to come directly to work with us after school.
