How We Prepare for NC Winter Storms

This one picture tells a story of a million words.*

Blake Bennett’s LinkedIn post represents a small glimpse of the enormous effort that has gone into this winter storm already. From spending countless hours searching for materials, to more than a week in a row of around the clock operations to apply brine, rock, salt, and calcium chloride, this team has once again stepped up like the incredible human beings that they are!

Due to an unrelenting insistence on refusing to fail, we are entering the storm with hundreds of tons of rock salt across the state of North Carolina, after applying tens of thousands of gallons of brine across the state. We have more than 200 plows ready to dispatch when the timing is right, and countless pieces of equipment, operators, salt trucks, and sidewalk cleaning teams that will dispatch when our operations team decides the timing is right.

For 50 years, we have dealt with Snow and Ice in North Carolina as a company. This storm stands to be one of the most significant events in decades. Please stay safe and avoid driving or leaving your home unless you absolutely must. Our teams and the teams working under the direction of other contractors like us can get more work done when the general public stays safer by being off the roads. The faster we can get the work done, the sooner things will get back to normal.

We take snow seriously, and we do our best to meet or exceed expectations. Contact us today for help preparing your property for the next winter event.
