Get ready for a deep dive into our lake and pond maintenance services.

Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Agreements

Our full-service, annual maintenance agreements are easy and cost-effective. Throughout the year, we do everything necessary to achieve your objectives, including a detailed report after each maintenance visit.

Our preventative maintenance agreements provide the most comprehensive service with the least hassle for any lake, pond, or stormwater device owner. Fees are based on your objectives.

We are in the unique position of being able to “do it all”: Stock and increase the growth of supplemental fish, install and maintain fountains, control nuisance vegetation, and manage water quality for productivity and attractiveness.

Don’t need an annual maintenance agreement?

We can provide services on an as-needed basis for things like:

  • Water Quality Analysis & Enhancement
  • Aquatic Vegetation Management
  • Fisheries Management
  • Fountain / Aeration Sales, Installation & Repairs
  • Construction and Repairs
  • Dredging
  • Certified Annual Stormwater BMP Inspections
  • Shoreline Stabilization & Erosion Control
  • Beneficial Shoreline Plantings
  • Lake Mapping (bathymetric mapping)
  • Consultations

Vegetation Management

Most aquatic vegetation is not eradicated—it is controlled. Our staff develops an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach for each client to control algae and nuisance aquatic vegetation. We visit your pond or lake and assess the water quality, identify the nuisance vegetation, and identify unwanted sources of nutrients and other variables affecting the growth of aquatic plants.

Our team can get your algae and unwanted vegetation using an integrated approach leveraging treatment, biological, culture, and mechanical tools in whatever combination gets the best results. We can offer you the tools and expertise to treat it yourself, or we can always manage the problem for you.

Fisheries Management

A healthy fish population in a lake, pond, or stormwater pond can provide insect control, recreational fishing opportunities, and overall ecosystem balance. Our experienced fisheries biologists will help you define a customized management objective and take your project from beginning to end. Proper planning is vital, whether you want a simple, self-sustaining fishery or trophy largemouth bass.

Pond Stocking

We only sell fish at least 2 inches or longer. These fingerling fish have already learned to feed, resulting in almost 100% survival. Higher quality fish ensures that you will have many years of productive fishing.

Electrofishing Surveys

Electrofishing surveys allow us to create a “snapshot” or data baseline of your population to make informed management decisions. After stunning the fish with an electrical field, we collect, weigh, and measure large numbers of fish without harming them. This data provides important information that we combine with water quality, habitat, and depth information to create a customized management strategy.

Trophy Management

Some lake and pond owners want large numbers of “trophy” fish. We design customized management plans to achieve these goals. Cutting-edge technologies and aggressive fisheries management techniques are key to producing amazing results. Whether your focus is largemouth bass, bream, catfish, crappie, or hybrid striped bass, we have a management program to fit your needs.

Fountains & Aeration

Aeration can significantly improve the appearance and productivity of most lakes and ponds. Our team’s decades of experience make us ideally suited to helping property owners choose the most suitable and cost-effective aeration for their situation.

The Importance of Oxygen

Dissolved oxygen is critical for plant and animal respiration. Lakes and ponds are depleted of oxygen in several ways. We provide aeration design and system installation services to customers across North Carolina. We have designed and installed over 1,000 aeration systems, including fountains, compressed air diffusers, and surface aerators.

Repairs & Maintenance Systems

Our staff has more than 35 years of combined experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aeration systems. With several certified service representatives for major fountain manufacturers capable of providing the following repair services:

  • Motor and Pump Change-out
  • Float Maintenance and Replacement
  • Lighting Maintenance and Replacement
  • Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Annual Maintenance Agreements
