We’re happy to announce exciting news: Our Reedy Creek Road complete street project has been nominated for an NCDOT Mobi Award!
This is a significant achievement and a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication in partnership with the Town of Cary. This project was a collaborative effort with the Town of Cary and our Design, Enhancement, and Maintenance teams.
Project Impact
This project significantly improved safety—especially for families and kids who walk or bike to Reedy Creek Elementary and Middle Schools. By adding sidewalks, bike lanes, landscaped medians, and two roundabouts, the project has enhanced pedestrian and bicycle safety, landscape maintenance safety, increased usage, and improved traffic flow and aesthetics. Not only has this project increased safety for all users, it has significantly increased sustainability and green initiatives by adding pollinator plantings, and a low-maintenance landscape palette.
