After nearly 21 years away, Tom made a special return to this year’s NC Nursery & Landscape Association Green & Growin’ show, accompanied by his sons, Kurt Bland and Matt Bland. Since Tom’s early retirement in 2005, Kurt and Matt have been leading the company with the same passion and dedication that Tom instilled from the start.
Tom’s presence at the event was nothing short of extraordinary—whether reconnecting with longtime industry peers, suppliers, co-workers, or even competitors, it felt like walking the tradeshow floor with an industry icon.
Last week’s experience was a powerful reminder that our company’s legacy and future success are built upon Tom’s ambitious spirit—a foundation that Kurt and Matt continue to strengthen as we look ahead to new goals and achievements.
