Today, we hosted local horticulture students at our Apex branch for an informative, hands-on turf workshop!

Our Apex branch shut down operations for a day of giving as we partnered up with Clean Jordan Lake and US Army Corps of Engineers to help with litter and trash removal. We worked along just a small stretch of the 100+ miles of shoreline that Lake Jordan has to offer.
Our east Charlotte branch hosted another student workshop this week. We delved into essential topics such as hardscape installation principles, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, and commercial landscape maintenance sales.
We discussed the main types of turfgrass found in North Carolina, concentrating on the Piedmont region. We also covered essential maintenance practices for year-round healthy turf, including treatment plans for common pests and diseases.

Many of you have been asking about ways to help respond to the hurricane disaster that has occurred in western North Carolina. We are working through an approach for relief contributions.
